One night, dozens of chefs: Chefs for Equality returns to D.C.
D.C.'s top chefs are joining forces for a culinary extravaganza supporting LGBTQ+ rights on Oct. 19.
Why it matters: Now in its 15th year, Chefs for Equality rallies the city's hospitality heavyweights for a night of collaborative dinners, cocktails and drag — all benefiting the Human Rights Campaign.
Dig in: This year's "United Plates of America" spans six venues, including four multicourse, wine-paired dinners ($400 each) with chef lineups you won't find elsewhere.

Plus: Perry's serves drag brunch for dinner, while Silver Lyan hosts a chef-studded cocktail party with a martini-and-caviar experience (both $250).
The bottom line: It's a splurge, but a rare chance to feast from multiple talents under one roof while supporting LGBTQ+ equality.
