CU Buffs football kicks off in the Springs

The University of Colorado football team will start its training camp in Colorado Springs on Aug. 2.

State of play: Coach Deion Sanders and the Buffs will practice at Fountain-Fort Carson High School for the first week of camp and return to Boulder on Aug. 8.

  • The team will stay at the UCCS campus.

    • Flashback: This isn't the first time Sanders has taken the team off-site for preseason prep. In 2024, CU practiced at All-City Stadium in Denver.

    • What we're watching: The Buffs' season kicks off Sept. 3 against Georgia Tech in Atlanta (6pm, ESPN).
